What does it mean to be human? what makes us human? does it mean we are just not robots? Heartless metal machines processing are lives, analyzing every choice, picking whatever one are computer mind tells us to? Does it only mean we bleed? Does it only mean we are a few years ahead of evolution so we are still above the animals? I think what makes us human in being perfect with all of are imperfections. That ability to make those mistakes, make those choices, change are surroundings. That is what makes us human.
These are the things that define us as individuals. And isn't that how we recognize each other as being human? The ability we have to drive ourselves to not be content with where we are, the way we can can control and shape our surrounding is what makes us human. The fact that we are filled with all kinds of different feelings and emotions is what makes us human. We may not love those awkward moments of talking to weird adults, or the awkward teenage moments that pop up everyday at high school. But that feeling that takes control of us is what makes us human. The feelings of loss, heart ache, sadness, and defeat and all the goodbye's are the defining emotions of a human. What makes us human is are ability to suffer these emotions and keep on going. What other thing in this world can handle what humans endure? nothing is right. When you think about it that is what sets us apart.
